your video suggests that you can do basically the same courses as places like SAE etc. yet macquarie is listed as no. 9 on your list and is mentioned as having one course? i finished year 12 last year and would like to study audio engineering at either a tafe or a college, i was under the impression macq didn’t do technical production. please email back
    regards tom.

Hey Tom, Thanks for dropping me a line! The video posted is an official Macquarie University video and not of my own doing. Whether the course/s they speak of are actually the same as those offered at SAE is hard to find out as (at the time) they provide no clear information on their website. As you probably noticed, I noted “no clear list of courses” in the Macquarie University description.

Check out the Department of Contemporary Music Studies here http://www.dcms.mq.edu.au/index.html According to their handbook they are not accepting admissions at the moment. Your best bet is to contact the head of department: Professor Phil Hayward, Phone: 02 9850 9245, Email: phayward@humn.mq.edu.au

Oh and it is listed as No. 9 solely because it is the 9th open day in the year.

Like to hear how you go. Please drop back and let me know how it all turns out!

Hello I was an extra for a music video made in one of your studios in winter of 2006 just off Cleveland Street.
The video was very popular on MTV etc afterwards.
It featured lots of people dancing in a club.
Can you help me find more details on the track artist etc.
Or suggestions of what it might be.
Your help would be much appreciated.
