The Triple J Unearthed High competition is on again! Entry opens 20th May 2009 and closes on 31st July 2009.

To become a famous rock star, all you have to do is…

  1. Write an original song
  2. Record your original song
  3. Sign up as an artist on the Unearthed High Signup Page
  4. Upload up to 3 original songs
  5. Make sure the “‘Unearthed High” checkbox is ticked under the competitions section of your artist profile

And the winner is… Is!

The band “Is” from Macdonald College, North Strathfield NSW, took out the Triple J Unearthed High competition in May this year. Check out the competition details here and listen to their story hereDownload and listen to their winning track. I think you guys can do this! Get involved, start a band, practice during lunchtime or after school and win! Easy… right? So come and see me to orgainise a practice time in Term 3 and who knows, you might be the winners in 2009!

Here is the file with the answers I gave you in written format today. Please go over them and make sure the details are correct, otherwise we are not even considered for the prize. During class on Friday, please have the 100 words or less ready. You need to have the enrolment form I gave you filled out, with the correct answers either written on the form or typed seperately (I assume this is ok, please check).
